# What are In Practice programs?

## In Practice programs are audio programs of about one hour that turn a personal development book into a practice program: a little summary and many exercises to put what you learn from the book into practice in your everyday life.

You can find them in the "Programs" section, on the mobile app and on the website.

**The idea**

You may have already read a book that struck you... and nothing really changed afterwards. In Practice starts from there.

Each In Practice takes a personal development bestseller and turns it into an action program. Each idea from the book is presented in about one minute. The rest of the time is dedicated to exercises.

**How long is a listening session?**

An In Practice lasts about 60 minutes.

**How do the exercises work?**

You do the exercises during or after listening, in your daily life. They come in several forms: an audit of your situation, a writing exercise, a short ritual, a meditation, a 21-day tracker...

For each exercise, you get:

- a name and a duration;
- a concrete instruction;
- an explanation of why it works;
- a plan B, if the original instruction doesn't suit you.

If an exercise might bring up something difficult, a way out is always offered.

**How is it different from a masterclass?**

In a masterclass, the mentor themselves teaches you their method, on video.

An In Practice starts from an author's book and adapts it into audio, with a focus on exercises.

**How is it different from a book summary?**

A book summary tells you what the book says. An In Practice gets you to practice it.

**When should I listen to an In Practice?**

The audio format is designed to be listened to while walking, commuting, or as you fall asleep.

**Who has access to In Practice?**

In Practice programs are included for all MentorShow and MentorShow Plus subscribers.
